About browser page deletion

This tool reads the selected PDF with pdf-lib, parses your page range, copies the pages not listed, and saves a new PDF locally. It rejects ranges outside the document so the output stays predictable.

Delete PDF pages is for removing whole pages. It does not edit text, redact content inside a page, OCR scanned documents, or change the order of the pages you keep.

Does this upload my files?

No. Everything on this page runs locally in your browser, so your files are never uploaded to a server. Close the tab and nothing is left behind. It even keeps working if you go offline after the page loads.

This is true for every tool on this site. Curious how that works? Read how browser-side processing works.

FAQ

Are PDFs uploaded when pages are deleted?

No. The PDF is read in your browser, the remaining pages are copied locally, and the result downloads from your device.

How do I choose pages to delete?

Enter page numbers or ranges separated by commas, like 2, 5-7. Page numbers use the visible PDF order starting at 1.

Can Delete PDF pages remove every page?

No. The tool refuses a range that would delete the whole document because the output must contain at least one page.

Does it edit text or OCR scanned pages?

No. It only removes whole pages and keeps the rest in order. It does not rewrite page content or recognize text.
